Once you have selected a song, save it in your folder. Open it in Audacity and clip the song down to 1 verse and 1 chorus. The goal is to get the song down in size to approximately 30 seconds up to 1 minute. We will NOT publish these on the Web, so there will not be a copyright violation. This is an educational, in-class lesson, to help you develop your Flash skills. You can select any verse (beginning, middle, end). If you would like to see a sample Flash file, in the Sing-a-long folder on the network, click on the Sample folder for two samples.

Print a storyboard form to plan your animation. Complete the storyboard before beginning the project.

Your Sing-a-long must have three scenes: an Introduction, the Sing-a-long portion, and final credits (with a replay button).

Include the following in your Sing-a-long:

• Motion guide (see Web Collection book for refresher)
• Mask layer (see Web Collection book for refresher)
• Motion tweening
• Text animation
• Image animations
• Sound throughout clip
• Minimum of three scenes linked together with action buttons and/or action frames (no limit on scenes)
