Lance Armstrong met his first wife Kristin in June 1997 and were married in May 1998. They had three children: Luke, born in October 1999, and twins Isabelle and Grace, who were born in November 2001. The couple filed for divorce in September 2003. Kristin Armstrong cited several events related to her husband's celebrity and cancer comeback had strained the marriage.
He began dating singer Sheryl Crow sometime in the autumn of 2003, and they took their relationship public in January of 2004. The couple announced their engagement in September 2005 and have since then separated.
